In 2015, Trevor teplaced Jon Stewart and has his big break by becoming one of the most notable and highest-paid television hosts, reportedly taking home a $16 million salary.

As Trevor Announced his departure, he used the opportunity to thank his team and fans for their support while expressing his gratitude for the journey, before revealing the reason behind his exit by saying;
“time is up”
“I realized there’s another part of my life I want to carry on exploring. I miss learning other languages. I miss going to other countries and putting on shows. I miss just being everywhere, doing everything.”
