WHO PLAYS RIDDLER IN THE NEW BATMAN?
Paul is taking on the role of Riddler in the new Batman movie. He is a terrific actor who has appeared in films such as ‘There Will Be Blood,’ ‘LittleMiss Sunshine,’ and several others.
Before making it big in Hollywood, Paul was a theater artist. At the same time, as a kid, he had taken several roles. In an interview with Empire, Paul spoke about the resemblance between the Zodiac killer and his character.
He said: “I liked how both grounded and big this film is at the same time. So there are some grounding forces like the Zodiac Killer, right? But it’s still The Batman, and for me, it’s much bigger, so it was important to let my imagination react to the script, rather than strictly basing it on a serial killer.”

For those who have read the comics, you would have noticed that the Riddler’s look is very different. The reason is, the character is being seen from the serial killer lens.
With this in mind, it does not come as a surprise that the film decided to take a different route when it comes to costume. Speaking about the same.
The costume was very intense. I think the potential DIY element you’re talking about was actually scarier to me than the more sophisticated or composed designs we might have played with. I found working with the costume to be very powerful. When you put on something like that, there’s a way to let it speak to you, and tell your body something. There’s a way to let it have a life of its own.
