In a statement on by the NFL Wednesday morning, December 29th, they revealed that John Madden’s wife have died at the age of 85 while as of the time of this post, the cause of death is still unknown.
Earlier today we received the sad news that the great John Madden died unexpectedly this morning. He was 85.

His wife name was Virginia and the Couple have been married since 1959 and we’re together at the time of his death for 62 years.
They both have 2 children, Joseph and Micheal.

John Madden was the head coach of the Oakland Raiders for ten seasons and helped them win the Super Bowl XI in 1977.
