Updates on the movie world is that The Expanse have been renewed for the 6th sesson and fans heed to know what finally happened to Alex.
WHAT HAPPENED TO ALEX KAMAL IN THE EXPANSE SEASON 5?
In the episode 10 of the 5th season, we saw as the Rocinante go up against Camina Drummer which leads five, superior ships and Rocinante engaged in combat with the 5 ships while Alex and Bobbie set off to rescue Naomi from the Chetzemoka.
After performing an impressive high-G stunt to allow Bobbie to get Naomi back on board, Alex appeared to suffer some sort of a health scare.
Once the Rocinante docked with the Razorback, it was learned that Alex had died from a stroke, forwarned by Bobbie when she mentioned the risky combination of high-G maneuvers and the drugs that are taken by pilots.

Showrunner, Naren Shankar, explained the reason behind Alex’s death was to provide a shocking fatality in order to showcase the consequences of the characters’ actions.
THE EXPANSE SEASON 6
It have been revealed by amazon Studios that The Expanse show would be getting a 6th season to conclude the show.
Amazon studios however did not give fans reasons why The Expanse was canceled but many fans believe that it was down to the show’s expensive budget, which the studio could not sustain past a sixth season.
The season 5 will have six Episodes and it’s scheduled to air on Friday, January 14, 2022, on Amazon Prime Video.
