VASYL LOMACHENKO secured a unanimous points win over Richard Commey in their lightweight battle at Madison Square Garden.
The victory puts Ukrainian sensation on course for a world title shot next year as he aims to reclaim his belts.
Lomachenko DROPPED Commey heavily in the seventh round, and while the Ghanaian beat the referee’s count he was on unsteady legs.
In incredible scenes, Lomachenko shouted at Commey’s corner to pull their man out.
Commey was able to get to the final bell but it was a one-sided victory by Lomachenko, who won 117-110, 119-108, 119-108 on the judges’ scorecards.
