Oge began writing blog post in 2017 after finishing his Secondary Education at Saint Patrick's Secondary School Enugu. Ding Liren is the new World chess champion of 2023 tournament, this was announced by the Federation Internationale des Echecs (FIDE) and Ding was as the new world chess champion.
The 2023 FIDE Tournament was held at Astana, Kazakhstan beginning on Friday, April 7 untill Monday, May 1 Ding, a Chinese chess grandmaster from Wenzhou born in 1992 won the game.
It’s no really a surprise for Ding to win as in his hometown he is called chess city and known as China’s first Grandmaster, Ye Rongguang, and the Women’s World Champion Zhu Chen.
Ding Liren began playing chess when he was only four years trained under the likes of Chen Lixing and Huang Xiwen, it didn’t take time for Ding to master the game of chess, winning the National Youth Championship several times before now winning the international tournament.
