The name of a Steamboat Springs man who died in a plane crash near the top of Emerald Mountain in northern Colorado has been disclosed.
Dr. Clint Devin, a Laramie native, was flying into Steamboat Springs from Cody, Wyoming on Friday evening when he crashed.
Snowmobiles were employed by Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers to reach the summit of the mountain. Devin, the sole person on board, was pronounced dead on the spot.
The National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the collision in the coming weeks, according to Routt County Undersheriff Doug Scherar.
