We saw as Solo Leveling topped in anime series last year and rumors now said that series will now release a new OST.
With this year being filled with various manga series like Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family and Tokyo Revengers.
The protagonist Jin-Woo from the hit web novel ‘Solo Leveling’ is yet to make his anime debut, but will he ever get a chance to appear in a TV series and if so, when could fans see an anime adaptation?
RUMOURS OF A SOLO LEVELING ANIME
Rumors have spread online concerning the Solo Leveling Anime but as of the time of this post, they have been no announcement on the production company and infact the company has has publicly confirmed that an anime adaptation of Solo Leveling is being planned.
This was because the official DNC Webtoon Twitter page recently shared a teaser for an upcoming OST (Original Sound Track), see below.
Captioned “Solo Leveling x THE BOYZ’ the new song will release in February 2022 and has fuelled speculation that this will be part of a larger promotional campaign for an anime.
Whilst an official confirmation of a television production remains unannounced, it’s surely only a matter of time before Jin-Woo hits our TV screens.
The most obvious reason for our optimism is quite an obvious one, popularity. Solo Leveling is arguably the most popular web novel in the world right now and consistently trends on social media with every new chapter.
In fact, Solo Leveling is the most requested anime adaption out there; topping AnimeJapan’s ‘Manga We Want to See Animated’ poll earlier this year and receiving over 212,000 signatures on a Change petition.
The large, dedicated core fanbase that Solo Leveling has cultivated could serve as an excellent platform for an anime adaption to start from. This could work in a very similar way to that of Chainsaw Man, another unique series with a large core fanbase that has just had its anime adaptation revealed.
The social media have seen rumours and theories about a potential Solo Leveling production.
