Who was Robert Boyer and Where is he now?
According to many news reports, Robert Boyer was a former miner and the man responsible for the killing of Keith Frogson, a 62-year-old ex-miner who was murdered with a crossbow and samurai sword outside his home in the village of Annesley Woodhouse on July 19, 2004.
Boyer formerly mined at the opposite side of the miners’ strike to Frogson, and as per the Nottingham Post, he was 23 when the Nottinghamshire pits closed and later found work as a security guard.
At the time Boyer committed his hideous crime of Killing Frogson Keith, also Chanel Taylor was also killed in tthe village of Huthwaite by her 55 years old father, Terry Rodgers.
Both Terry Rodgers and Boyer ended up evading authorities and hiding in the same woods outside Annesley Woodhouse, but later according to Guardian reports, Boyer crept back and set fire to Frogson’s house a fortnight later, when the old trade unionist’s daughter and her husband were inside.
In this turn of events, a Manhunt were issued and both individuals were found.
Where is Robert Boyer and Terry Rodgers now?
Now to to where both criminals are now, reports by the Manchester Evening News, says that Boyer who got the murder charges dropped is is now in his 60s and remains under secure medical supervision after he was given an indefinite hospital order.
The murder charge was dropped in the wake of a mental assessment but also the Mirror reports that he was convicted of manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility, at Nottingham Crown Court to which he pleads guilty.
Coming to Terry Rodgers, he unfortunately died in hospital before he stood trial for murder after going on hunger strike.
