Cosori is giving free replacement for all the air fryers the company has recalled due to the risk of fire hazards, and here’s how you can sign up for it
About 2 million units have reportedly been recalled after alleged incidents of “catching fire, burning, melting, overheating and smoking.” The company has disclosed all the models that could be potentially affected along with details about finding the lot and batch numbers. Users have been persuaded to stop using them instantly
The Cosori air fryer joins several other products that have been recalled in the U.S. in 2023, including eye drops of certain brands and Tesla vehicles.
HOW TO FIND THE MODEL AND BATCH NUMBER
The model number of your air fryer can be found on the back, which is written at the bottom to the left of the sticker label
Write down the batch number on a price of paper and take photos of it placed underside, front, and back of the product that you want to submit for a replacemen
The power cord of the affected air fryer needs to be cut and the uploaded pictures must show the same. The website recommends you safely unplug it and wait for five minutes before cutting the cord.
