So now, According to new Reports by the Orlando Police Department, there is “no evidence of a shooting” at Lake Eola.
This happened at July 4th US federal holiday as people were gathered to celebrate the day, listen to music, and enjoy fireworks. The mass shoot out report scared many who went fleeing bit now according to the cops, the shoot out was just a “noise scare” that caused panic and led to 12 people being injured in the crowds with thousands of people who feared a shooting was taking place at Lake Eola.
At Lake Eola, fireworks went up at about 9.40pm and ten minutes into the event, a noise caused a huge “scare” causing many people to flee the area, some jumping in water but unfortunately, there was not shooting as many thought and in the event of fleeing about 12 people were injured.
At the event, police were on higher alert due to the earlier incident in Illinois, so the Orlando PD was able to establish there was no threat and proceeded to tweet that it is safe as they thought the noise had been caused by fireworks and there was “no evidence of a shooting”
