The Guru Nanak Dev’s birthday celebrations is coming up on 17th November and Kartarpur Corridor is still close at the moment.
The Kartarpur Corridor had been inaugurated long in November 2019 by the prime minister Imran Khan, but the corridor wasn’t open for long as it was suspended in March 2020, just as the pamdemic hit and ever since the corridor is still closed.
Now the Pakistan had urges the Indian Government to reopen the Kartarpur corridor for the celebration of Guru Nanak Dev’s birthday.
India is yet to open the corridor from its side and allow pilgrims to visit Kartarpur Sahib, said the FO.
We look forward to hosting devotees from India and around the world for the upcoming Guru Nanak Dev’s Birthday celebrations from 17-26 November.
Pakistan expects that India in the spirit of cooperation would allow pilgrims to travel through the corridor to visit Kartarpur Sahib.
