As temperature drops, millions of Children in Afghanistan, is said to surfer Acute Malnutrition this years. Afghanistan which was captured by the Taliban on August 2021 have bee unstable with the new Government not able to pay health worker in the country.

This was stated by the World Health Organization Spokesperson who said that about a million children may die this year from acute Malnutrition in the country.

Many children’s in Afghanistan have already died due to Malnutrition but the number was not given as Harris said that the Hospital is filled with little children.

It’s an uphill battle as starvation grips the country,

The world must not and cannot afford to turn its back on Afghanistan.

Margaret Harris told Geneva-based journalists by telephone from the capital Kabul.

Margaret Harris also said that For malnourished children, measles is a death sentence. As WHO have reported 24,000 clinical cases so far. Harris says we will see so many more deaths if we don’t move on this quickly.
