A Los Angeles woman has just sues the police department in Los Angeles over false arrest claims that she had experienced back in April, 2021.
The lady by name Bethany K Farber claims to have been falsely arrested by the police and detained for two weeks after her identity was mistaken for that of a criminal and has so sued the entire police department .
The details of her entire case was filed at the District Court’s Central District of California on February 22nd.
WOMAN CLAIMS SHE WAS WRONGLY JAILED
The Los Angeles native alleges she was mistakenly jailed for 13 days in April 2021.
She claimed that the police arrested her at Los Angeles International airport while she was waiting to board a flight to Mexico.
According to inmate records the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirm Farber was arrested at Los Angeles International on April 16th 2021 at 9.45am. She was released on April 28th.
FARBER SUES LOS ANGELES POLICE
Farber is now suing the Los Angeles Police Department and City of LA.
At the press conference on Tuesday, she had has addressed :
“This was an experience no one should have to go through, especially a law-abiding citizen.”
