The Previuously closed Meadow Creek Pond, located behind the Walmart on Summit Boulevard in Frisco, is now open for free public ice skating.
The official have released the ban putting a new rule as the Pond now opens from dawn until 10 p.m. daily, it will be lit at night and guests are asked to bring their own ice skates while coming.
Note that Ice fishing is not yet permitted at Meadow Creek Pond at the moment as the auger holes would create unsafe skating conditions.
As the ice is up to 9 inches thick in some places of the pond so all skaters are advised to skate on the pond at their own risk.
