UEFA chiefs seems ready to rip up their rulebook to give Spurs extra time to complete their Campaign at the Conference League group phase.
The have Officially agreed to postpone the Thursday night’s scheduled group clash with Rennes after Public Health England confirmed the closure of the club’s Enfield training base as a result of the massive Covid wave in the Spurs squad.

That came after Rennes had accused Tottenham of using a “London fog” to justify the match being put off.
But the confirmation from health chiefs of the extent of the Covid spread was enough for Uefa.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte popped out for a pizza as a respite from the outbreak which ripped through his squad and also saw Tottenham’s Prem clash with Brighton on Sunday postponed.
Next Thursday’s game with Leicester set to follow.
In a statement to fans, Spurs said: “The Premier League Board took the decision to postpone the game following guidance from medical advisers, with the health of players and staff the priority.
“The Club requested the match to be rearranged following a significant number of positive COVID-19 cases among players and relevant staff.
“We should like to apologise to everyone at Stade Rennais and Brighton & Hove Albion and to both their supporters and ours for any inconvenience caused and thank both clubs for their understanding during these challenging times.”
And now Europe’s governing body is ready to grant an exception from current regulation to reschedule the match until after the December 31 deadline for the end of the group phase.
