Many people afraid of being trapped when a building in Ikoyi, Lagos, collapsed
On Monday 1st November, a 21-story building in Ikoyi, a posh neighborhood of Lagos, collapsed, trapping several people beneath the wreckage.
Previously to the incident that had happened on 13 th March 2019, when a three story building in the Ita Faaji area of Lagos, Nigeria suffered a structural collapse, killing 20 people and leaving over 40 trapped.
We hope this incident never turn out like the one in 2019. Stay tuned to more update on the topic..

Just in on the matter as reports shows that Rescue team (NEMA) has arrived at the scene following a distress Cal they received, they are currently suveying the building and how to get into rescue any trapped person inside.

The 21 Story building in ikoyi is now known to trap about 50 people’s inside, with reports too saying the owner of the building was inside prior to it’s collapse. The luxury penthouse building is known to sold at $5 million while the lower apartment of the build sold at $1.2m.
