A man has died from a hit and run after sustaining injuries.
The crash happened on Sunday December 27th in Aurora, at about 5:59 p.m. and the Aurora police later arrived to the 19000 block of East Montview Boulevard.
The man was lying on the ground and har significant injuries from the accident. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but later died from the injuries.
Investigators believe that he was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound along Montview, and the vehicle is believed to be gray based on evidence.
There should be damage on the driver’s side front of the vehicle and side-view mirror. The make and model of the car is unknown.
The man’s identity will be released at a future date by the Adam’s County Coroner’s Office once “he has been positively identified and his next-of-kin has been notified.”
