In the race to capture Red Bull Salzburg starlet Karim Adeyemi, Borussia Dortmund has reportedly surged ahead of Liverpool Fc.
The 19-year-old has had an incredible start to the 2021-22 season with the Austrian champions, scoring 14 goals in 20 appearances across all competitions.
Karim Adeyemi’s outstanding form has earned him interest from both Liverpool and PSG, and the striker recently stated that he was “honored” to be connected with Jurgen Klopp’s side and now he had a chance of earning £2.5 million per year at the Westfalenstadion.
Borussia Dortmund is now ‘in pole position‘ to recruit Adeyemi, according to Sport1, with the BVB having a particularly great track record in fostering young talent.
The clubs chief Sebastian Kehl has already held conversations with Karim Adeyemi’s agent and according to reports, the teenager could earn £2.5 million per year at the Westfalenstadion.
Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan are all thought to be interested in Adeyemi, who is valued at €35 million (£29.7 million) by Salzburg.
