
This year, the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which takes place on Thanksgiving Day will be held as normal with no morecoronavirus restrictions where the parade last year was limited to one lock radius.
Floats, balloons, and celebrities will travel 2.5 miles through Manhattan, beginning at 77th and Central Park West in the borough’s Upper West Side and ending at the Macy’s flagship in midtown.
The 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, will be broadcast live on NBC, Telemundo, and Peacock at 9 a.m. while a delayed broadcast starting at 9 a.m. on the West Coast.
The show will be hosted by Al Roker, Hoda Kotb, and Savannah Guthrie from the Today show.
This year’s parade participants are all required to be vaccinated, but there are no similar requirements for spectators.
Jon Batiste, Kelly Rowland, Nelly, Mickey Guyton, and Carrie Underwood are among the performers set to take part in the procession. They’ll be accompanied by 15 of the world’s most famous large balloons, as well as 28 floats.
