TikTok is an app that would be nothing without its latest trending crazes.
Many TikTok trends have come and gone. some recent examples includes the ‘Hot and cold dance, ‘Love Grows’ and ‘Tell me without telling me’.
The latest popular trend is using the Echo Effect.
WHAT THE ECHO EFFECT IS AND WHEN TO USE IT
The Echo trend users upload any kind of video, but with the sound is then altered using the built-in Echo filter.
The Echo effect transforms any sound by giving repeats whatever the audio is,back to the video creator which can lead to a spooky sounding reverb.
The effect has received over 4.7 million views under the #echoeffect tag and features clips of different varieties of recreation of the Echo effect.
HOW TO USE THE EFFECT ON TIKTOK
First step is to start by either filming a video on the TikTok camera or uploading one from your camera roll,just as you do normally.
Once you have filmed or uploaded your video, press the pink tick to confirm you are finished.
Once you’ve done this, you should white speech bubble will be located on the right-hand side of your screen labelled ‘Voice Effects’.
Click on this present icon and scroll through the sound effects on the bottom of the screen until you find ‘Echo’.
Simply press on the Echo button, and let your video be transformed.
TECHNICAL ISSUES EXPLAINED
If you have uploaded a video instead of recording it on the app and have found that the Voice Effects feature is not avaialble, you may need to update your TikTok app.
Once you’ve added the Echo feature, remember to add the #echofeature tag to make sure you gain asmany views as possible, press upload and watch your TikTok likes rise!
