Below in this page, we tell you about the Four crowns that are being used in the Queen’s mourning and Charles’ coronation amid Queen Elizabeth II death on September 8th.
At this time, Queen Elizabeth is lying in state for four days in Westminster Hall in the lead up to her funeral where Her coffin is covered in a yellow cloth and the Imperial State Crown is placed on top.
The crown placed on top which is the Imperial State Crown was just one of Her Majesty’s many crowns as the queen has a lot different crowns and tiaras which she wore throughout her life and right there also, there are only a few significant ones that are being used during her mourning and Charles’ coronation.
The Four crowns that are being used in the Queen’s period of mourning are the Crown of Scotland, Imperial State Crown, St Edward’s Crown and Crown of Queen Elizabeth.
