The F1 ABU DHABI is finally over with MAX VERSTAPPEN winning the race and taking the World title.
In the preview, we saw as a safety car had stopped Hamilton, allowing Verstappen to pit for new tyres while the Brit could not.
With a new set of tyres, Verstappen was always going to win Hamilton and that was exactly what happened as with 20 more laps to go, Hamilton could have changed his tyres.
They collided in the opening lap after the Brit had a huge start on his adversary.
An investigation found no evidence to convict the reigning world champion.
Verstappen simply had to return time, not a place. Red Bull believed he didn’t relax and complained, but the stewards agreed.
