Bill Cosby is a now free man, but prosecutors are asking the United States Supreme Court to review his closed case, arguing he was never granted immunity in the Andrea Constand case by a Pennsylvania prosecutor.
Prosecutors are appealing to the United States Supreme Court to correct a “grievous error,” noting that Cosby’s acquittal is a slippery slope that might create a dangerous precedent.
The Prosecutors had claim that Cosby was not granted lifetime immunity from prosecution just because a prosecutor declined to charge him criminally at the time.
