Los Angeles — An Atlanta man was considering vacation options when he came up with the idea for the ultimate Disney adventure.
Nathan Fireshits, 34, is an AV systems engineer and programmer and loves theme parks.
Firesheets is no stranger to theme park challenges, but he recently completed a full-scale one that focuses solely on Disney attractions: He’s ridden every ride in all 12 Disney parks around the world in just 12 days.
“It was a lot,” said Fireshits. “Looking back, I’m like ‘I can’t believe I just did that.’ It’s just crazy. Lots of travel, lots of theme park stuff, but it was a really cool experience. Tons of fun.”
He called it a Disney World Challenge and Firechits said it took him about a month to plan. In just 12 days he visited all the parks: Paris, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Anaheim and Orlando.
The challenge started on March 8th and completed on March 19th. Papers Fire said he got an average of four to six hours of sleep each night.
“Some of them just deal with exhaustion,” Fireshits said. “Dealing with some frustration with some of the riding stuff, there were some weather issues. Definitely the lowest point was sleeping through all my alarms in California and just walking out that day on the wrong foot.”
In all, Firesheets rode 216 rides and filmed himself on every one. He documented his journey on Twitter with pictures. He said the amazing cast members and the support he received in person and online along the way were the highlight of the trip.
“Certainly, the cast members really made the trip as it was,” Fierschaits said. “All of that support and encouragement has been absolutely phenomenal. I don’t think I could have gotten through some of the lower points without everyone going, ‘You can do this.’” Come here. “It was really great to get all this encouragement and support.”
When asked about his favorite garden, he said nothing compares to the happiest, most native place in the world.
“I’m a classic Disneyland fan,” said Firesheets. “It’s got the most history. It’s the only park Walt has actually been in. It still has 11 opening day attractions. There’s a lot of history and nostalgia. It’s not very spread out, and they have another park a few hundred away.” feet.”
